Try before you buy - every day is a demo day at The Kayak Centre of Rhode Island. Our superb waterfront locations and terrific staff can assist you with a demo prior to your kayak purchase.

Here's how it works. There are times when you know exactly which kayak you want to purchase and after a few minutes of sitting in that kayak in our store coupled with some great advice, you can confidently make your purchase. With130 kayak models on display, we are sure to have the right kayak to fit your needs.

Sometimes you are just not sure which kayak to buy and have narrowed your selection to two great boats.  Our on-water demo program can help you solve this dilemma.  To assist you in making an exceptionally informed decision, you are welcome to demo any kayak in our fleet for a reasonable fee per kayak. ($25 per person for each plastic kayak and $50 per person for each composite kayak) This demo fee will be applied to the purchase of any in-stock or special order kayak and is non-refundable.
